Bill Ackman is back at Netflix

Pershing Square has re-entered Netflix and purchased approximately 3.15 million shares.

Since I $NFLX (+2,29%) topped up my own position several times over the past few months, it naturally feels good to see investors like Bill Ackman also recognizing the potential.

I particularly like his statement:

“Netflix has since effectively won the streaming wars.”

I’m curious to see how this position performs over the long term. 🍿👀

Where do you see long-term growth potential?

@Aktienfox I see a lot of potential, especially in the advertising business and the ongoing shift from traditional TV to streaming.

Younger generations, in particular, are growing up with Netflix and similar services. Personally, I’d also prefer to decide for myself when and what I watch, rather than having to follow a fixed TV schedule. For me, traditional linear TV has had its day in the long run.

In my opinion, this means Netflix can still gain a lot of market share while continuing to scale its advertising business. On top of that, there are live events and, of course, the ongoing potential to raise prices over the long term.

It’s precisely this combination of continued revenue growth and rising margins that makes Netflix an attractive long-term investment for me.

I'm invested, too. Let's hope for the best.
