Hm. It may be that Pepsi is going down a bit (-20% approx. in the last year while CocaCola is at approx. +1%) but... Pepsi is still paying significantly higher dividends. Approx. 4.5 vs. 2.8% if I have memorized it correctly. But now comes the crucial point for me... I've held both for over 20 years. Pepsi is up over 100%. KO is currently only +1%. That means a personal dividend yield of approx. 2.8% for KO and approx. 9% for PEP. No question as to which stock I like better.
But I still find the taste of KO better... :-)
