Pfizer (WKN: 852009) had established an overarching downtrend starting from the record high of $61.71 reached in December 2021. This trend drove the stock down to a multi-year low of $20.92 in April 2025. Since then, the stock has been working to form a broader base. Following a higher intraday low of $23.62 in June of this year, a dynamic recovery began, during which the 20-, 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages were recaptured.
Most recently, the stock consolidated its gains below the September highs along a downward-sloping trend line. In yesterday’s trading, a bullish daily candle—accompanied by high volume—broke through that trend line and marked a 2-year high intraday. On the upside, however, the bulls are already facing the next hurdles at $29.78–$30.01. Above that, an important cluster of resistance extends from $30.50 to $30.54. The next potential targets would then be $31.30–$32.02 and $32.59.
On the downside, the $28.10–28.15 range should now be defended as much as possible. The rising 20-day moving average currently runs through this area. Just below that, the 50-day moving average at $27.83 offers additional support. A drop below this zone would initially make another test of the support level at $27.02–$27.25 likely.
