The big reallocation has begun. Bye Bye Amundi.

(Background: The ETF will not be merged in a tax-neutral way and I don't feel like doing that anymore. It's a mystery to me why an ETF with a volume of 6 billion, which has been around since 2017, is being dissolved at all. This will scare away sooo many investors).

@Mcl1991 just watch out - if anyone here compares $AAPL with $BIRN then it's ME 🤬

I'm sorry for your strategy! 😢

Stories like this make me doubt the very long term plans with ACWI ETF until death. If large ETFs are liquidated after only 5 years, what will happen in 50 years?

@Epi It's definitely a reality check. But it seems to be my mistake, Amundi is well known for this.

@CMustermann The crucial point is probably that something like this can simply happen and therefore long-term planning is not really possible or only possible to a very limited extent. And that in an area that only lives from long-term planning.

The tax deductions must have hurt 😕

@AE23 let's not talk about it...

The $10AH and the $WLD are I think identical in the investments. After the takeover of Lyxor and thus the $WLD, Amundi will simply close the smaller one, I think.

@finanzperpetuum Allegedly the $10AH is to be swallowed up by the A2H59Q. Why is a mystery to me.

Since I would have had to pay taxes in full anyway, I'm taking the opportunity to leave this provider. I have little desire for the same crap to happen again in a few years' time.
About 1k? You'll be paying less for that in a few years! 😅

Makes me reconsider the tax advantages of a netto rentepolice.
What happens to my money that is still in the ETF? Will I get it back? Does anyone know?
