I find that interesting!

After the merger with $Dominion $NEE (+0,2%) the largest energy company in the world. An exciting story for me. How do you see the opportunities and risks? You currently have around 50% of your generation capacity of 110 GW already sold under contract for Datacenter Alley in Virginia with 51 GW. How do you see that?

For me - absolutely - too! It can only grow - but it will take time... Trump is a big brake in this respect.

@G_Capital No, he's not. He can't prevent it, during Trump 1 the share price of $NEE rose happily, because nothing is cheaper in the USA than energy generated from renewable sources. And when it comes to money, US Americans know no fun. The orange dwarf in the white house can run around as much as he likes: it won't change anything.
And things have been going pretty well so far.

@Gomerdoc That is precisely the point: despite political headwinds, the sector continues to grow. With a tailwind, however, the momentum would probably be much stronger.

I don't believe that the regulator will go through with it. I also see further political risks in the USA. Trump has demanded that hyperscalers contribute to the cost of electricity, but this has hardly happened. In some areas, electricity costs are rising by double digits m/m. I can therefore also imagine a cap that would slow down the planned growth case of $NEE. Of course, if everything goes smoothly and there is no political intervention, then it would be a great deal.
