@PalmPirateTechnocrate It may well be that some people here just bought NU like lemmings, but those who have studied Nu and the business model and potential of Nu know very well why they bought, they will hold on and be very happy in the future.

And I could read enough "lemming" comments like yours here at times when, for example, Meta's price was at rock bottom. You seem to be just following the howls of the masses 🤣

Is this going to be a second stock market news here? I already wrote my opinion on this in another post.

Berkshire certainly didn't originally buy just because of a hype. Anyone who practises sensible risk management would not have overweighted such a stock and it would be lost in the noise of the other positions.

And the people who come here with "I knew it" and schadenfreude are almost certainly also the people who, conversely, don't begrudge the people here their profits.

I suspect that even now they don't even know exactly why the share has corrected so much.

@Baraccus this is all a nonsensical discussion because Berkshire announces its purchases/sales with a 3 month delay.

@Dividenden_Monteur Doesn't change my basic statement. If you are interested, read my other text.

@Baraccus what other text?

I copied it for you:

Emotions simply play far too big a role for many investors. Sensible risk management helps to avoid watching the price with trepidation and then trading out of fear. No matter whether fomo or fear of total loss.

I bought the stock in the knowledge that it was a higher-risk investment with a potentially market-beating return and the weighting is less than one percent. Why do I buy such stocks in the first place? Because most indices are unattractive and overvalued.

So I have a number of stocks where I still see good entry points based on chart analysis and fundamental assessment. Nu has now fallen... But 4 other stocks have risen... All in line with expectations.

You can tell from some of the unpleasant comments in the community (börsenews is even worse) that some people are more interested in gambling than in following a rational system and sticking to it.

@Dividenden_Monteur probably invests his money in handkerchiefs since then

Why do you have to hate unnecessarily? You should rather appreciate that people like him put a lot of time into analyzing and presenting companies and share them with us, whether you invest is up to you 🤷🏽‍♂️

@Hidalidsch So to avoid any misunderstandings here, I'm not talking about the guy who wrote about NU and did a good job of it.
I'm talking about the Dude who posted "That's the way" under every fucking Nu post

@Hidalidsch and considering how many people here have burned money with Droneshield, a little "hate" is appropriate

NU is a bank, I've been on this platform for 4 years and there's only ONE user who can rate something like this correctly and that's @TheAccountant89

For normal people, rating banks is like driving around the Nordschleife in a rear-wheel drive Porsche or Benz with the auxiliary systems switched off.

The wanna be Warrens are back on Tinder😜
@LIMIT666 Everyone is responsible for themselves and has bought NU. Just because someone convincingly conveys "this is the way" does not mean that they are to blame for the fact that others have been "burned" by it.
Anyone who buys at the behest of others is to blame.
