L’Oréal Ahead of Its Quarterly Earnings Report – Quality Comes at a Price

On October 22, $OR (+5,79%) its quarterly results for the first nine months of 2026. The company is on my watchlist and, according to my valuation model, is an interesting candidate for a dividend growth compounder. So far, however, I’ve found the valuation too ambitious to make an investment.

My Key Watchouts:

  • Organic growth: Can $OR (+5,79%) continue to grow faster than the global beauty market?
  • China: Will the recovery continue, particularly in the luxury segment?
  • Margins: Will profitability remain stable despite high investments in brands and marketing?
  • Segments: Will Dermatological Beauty and Consumer Products continue to show strong growth?
  • Valuation: Is the stock approaching a range where its quality and long-term growth prospects justify an investment?

My Conclusion:
$OR (+5,79%) The company fundamentally convinces me with its strong brands, global reach, and structural growth opportunities. However, what matters to me isn’t just how good the company is, but also what price I pay for it. I therefore monitor both business performance and valuation and would rather wait for a suitable entry point than buy quality at any price.
