As of today, July 18, 2025, there is no confirmed specific news or event that directly explains Nu Holdings' (NU) stock price decline. Such short-term movements are often caused by:
- General market conditions (e.g. weak overall markets) - Sector-wide trends in the financial or fintech sector - Technical factors such as resistance or support zones - Strategic shifts by institutional investors
For short-term price movements, it also makes sense to consider the overall market environment and sector-specific developments. There are currently no documented individual events that clearly explain the current decline.
@GoDividend I've always been lazy. But I've actually become diligent. The last few months I just haven't replied to anything. Now there's an answer at least
Good morning, I also turned over the last penny, bought 10 more shares and filled up the 100. In the long term, NU remains a buy in any case. NU can go up again on Monday 🤣
@Tenbagger2024 yes of course definitely, that was also the case when Buffett reduced his position. But it doesn't matter to me as I've been in it for almost 3 years.
It has nothing to do with tariffs or the market; one of the largest investors has reduced its stake. That's why the decline, if you invest you should actually know that.
