Fluence was recognized as the leading global provider of battery storage in the S&P Global Commodity Insights Report.

Fluence Energy Inc. $FLNC (-4,94%) a leading global provider of intelligent energy storage systems, services and system optimization software, has been recognized as one of the top three global battery storage system providers in the newly published S&P Global Commodity Insights 2025 Battery Energy Storage System Integrator Report.

The independent assessment evaluates companies based on their installed and contracted storage capacity.

According to the report, Fluence is one of the top three suppliers of battery energy storage systems (BESS), both with and without China.

This signals another year of strong growth and consistent performance in all major markets. The report also underscores the company's leading position in the US, where Fluence has the second largest total capacity thanks to its strategy to promote domestic value creation and a solid order pipeline.

In Europe, Fluence continues to expand its presence both in the UK and on the continent, including in Germany, where it is the second largest supplier in terms of installed and contracted capacity. Together with leading positions in Australia and the rest of the Americas, these results underline Fluence's role as one of the few suppliers with a truly global and multi-regional presence.

"From Europe and the US to Australia and emerging markets, our teams are delivering solutions for some of the most complex storage projects in the world. As this independent analysis shows, lenders and system operators trust Fluence time and time again to deliver these large, grid-critical projects," said Julian Nebreda, President and CEO of Fluence. "This report positions Fluence among the leaders in global storage systems and clearly signals to customers, lenders and regulators that our technology, execution expertise and service platform are designed for long-term reliability and risk mitigation."

Fluence's award comes amid rapid global growth in large-scale energy storage projects. This is due to the increasing integration of renewable energy into power grids, preparation for the expansion of AI data centers and rising expectations for energy security and resilience. To meet these changing requirements, Fluence continues to invest in standardized storage platforms, advanced cyber-secure control and optimization software, and regionalized supply chains. These investments help customers deploy storage systems faster, operate their fleets more efficiently and meet new regulatory and security requirements.

The company's positive development has also been recognized across the industry. At the Energy Storage News Awards 2025, which took place last month, Fluence was named System Integrator of the Year for the third consecutive year and received the Product of the Year award for Smartstack™, its most advanced storage solution, which was launched earlier this year. The company and its customers were also honored with other awards.

@Neyney So they don't know how to make a profit, but...
••

@TechNav Yes, they are still at the beginning. But I find the constellation with Siemens very exciting. In the end, they just have to be able to do something that others can't

@Neyney funny, the stock market seems to be the easiest credit bank in the world, no collateral, no profits to show. You don't even have to be a healthy company. And get millions from 🥬....

@jkb92 It becomes frustrating when you then see people who are surprised by sharp price corrections. In my opinion, companies without a solid balance sheet should not even be considered as an investment opportunity.

@TechNav I'll just assume that you can't read a balance sheet correctly.
The company has excellent liquidity and minimized default risk thanks to the strategic/financial support of Siemens and AES.
In this respect, I still don't see any similarities with Iris.

By the way, following your view, you will never buy early into companies like Netflix, Tesla, AMD, etc.
Everyone should spread their risk as much as they can 🤑🤞🏼

@7Trader I have to read balance sheets for work... 2025:
Free cash flow negative
EBITDA negative
Profit margin negative
Debt/Equity already at 0.74
ROE -11.76%
Simply horrible...

Buffet also didn't make his fortune because he got in early on companies like Netflix, Tesla etc, that's speculation/luck if that's how you get profits.

Risk yes, because even a solid company can deliver bad figures tomorrow, but putting money into unsound companies is simply not an investment.

@TechNav LOL I was expecting this answer 😂

Of course you're a professional balance sheet reader now, clearly.....
Maybe read it again - Fluence Energy is in a net cash position.

You're just following the view on FCF, ok, but that's all you seem to grasp. Maybe it's because you can read the balance sheet of a small GmbH, but a consolidated balance sheet is a different story.
