@ProMau For me, 12.8% has been withheld. In the case of American taxpayers, 15%......... is then taken into account in the tax return after the tax-free amount of up to 15%, says the AI.

@5julian5 Yes, but there are a few obstacles. Of course, the French don't make things like this easy for us. The documents are usually in French. You only have to prove that you already pay taxes here.

@ProMau Advance exemption with a certificate of residence from the tax office via the DKB is the magic word.

That's right, congratulations and I'm even happier that the dividend seems quite secure even if the share price stagnates for a few quarters! Withholding tax of course not optimal but a relatively safe investment mmn.
