I recently got out of LVMH, as I suspect from chart analysis that we have an increased risk of seeing prices between EUR 480-420 again after the SKS formation with a double top. Fundamentally, customs duties and sales problems in China also cast a shadow. I am curious.

@Baraccus In the short term, this is a real issue and could depress the share price even further. In the long term it doesn't matter, it will continue to rise in 10 years, so put it on the watchlist and buy the dip 😄

@Stock_Master You know, there is one thing in life that is more valuable than almost anything else. And that is time. That also applies to investing.

The attitude of "it will go up in the long run" may rob you of a lot of returns in your good years. I don't see why I shouldn't invest the money in other stocks that offer better entry points now.

I might invest in lvmh again if the risk/reward ratio is better. And I might even buy more shares with the profits from another share that I have held until then.

Will probably recover - the only question is how quickly 😉

Why don't you wait for at least one bullish weekly candle?

Here are some very readable thoughts on $MC, dear Kate @Iwanowitsch: [wink smiley]

I got out of there and into novo. Unfortunately, LVMH is no longer growing and the forecast doesn't look rosy either. What's more, the withholding tax was a pain for me in the long run. But good luck to you.

@parlania Sorry, I wasn't precise enough. Reclaiming in France is far too expensive compared to Denmark.

Don't worry about it! 😄

Time in the market beats timing the market - so if you are investing in an established company for the long term, the time of purchase is not necessarily always the most important factor. 😄

I don't deal with $MC, but if you are unsure, I recommend that you think carefully about what you want to achieve with the purchase, how long you want to hold the share and what actually speaks for the company, so you can better estimate when and whether an investment is worthwhile. 😎

Hope this helps you and your conscience! 😅

Why $MC and not $RMS? :)
