Question for the community 📈

I am new to investing and have made $QBTS (+9,57%) would you now sell some or all of your shares and buy more as soon as the price drops or stay invested?

Why did you buy the share? Has anything changed in the company? Are you trading only or for the long term?

@AK98 I bought it because I find the subject area very exciting and there is also a lot of potential for quantum technology in the future

@Kronbichla You have already answered your question about selling or keeping.

@AK98 Since my portfolio is still relatively small, would it make sense to sell some of them and then buy more when the price is lower, or would I not sell them completely anyway?

@Kronbichla That's a thought you always have, but who says it will fall again? It can also go up further. I would let it run and buy more if there is a setback

@AK98 thank you, I have also decided to go down this route 🤝

@Kronbichla keep and buy extra lower.

@AK98 It is not at all clear whether the company will ever make money. I prefer to trade them. I have now taken my profits out twice at 100% profit and if the figures change or it is really clear that they really have the best quantum technology, you can still buy and hold. Unfortunately, I don't have a crystal ball to know whether that was good or bad. In any case, I will buy again if there is a correction.

I can only tell you not to be led by others. I bought Palantir 2024. Everyone, but everyone wrote to me "you're stupid" "you have no idea, look at the P/E ratio" if you like volatility, please go ahead and lose your money. Well, Palantir is at just under €160 today. I own 965 shares. 🤩 Entry at €15.21 in January. Holding has almost always paid off.

If you are convinced of the company in the long term and can withstand the high volatility, hold it. This applies to all small caps, of which I have a lot in my portfolio. However, if you have another company that promises you a higher return, sell $QBTS and buy the other share.
There will definitely continue to be strong ups and downs at $QBTS in the future. For me, they are massively overvalued at the moment. But that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
