I've been saying for years that Novo Nordisk is and will always be a boring diabetes company. The stock fell sharply again yesterday because Novo disappointed investors at its Capital Markets Day with conservative medium-term targets through 2030, as well as cautionary statements regarding margins and the upcoming patent expiration for semaglutide. $NVO (+0,98%)

I like the company though. The problem, the more successful is today the less successful will be in the future if his diabetes treatment reduces the amount of people with diabetes 🤷‍♀️.
Novo people are smart and it’s ok to maintain the company price leveled because they are waiting for the next break through.
In the future, the company should change the strategy to a permanent medication to maintain a healthy weight so people are going to take it forever, like vitamins. Buuuut, then every other company will be able to sell the same product.
Novo should look for the next step, like a muscle growth pill, or a joints repair treatment.
