What made you decide to include this track, and what are your personal expectations for ionq in the coming years?

@Pherror Hi, generally speaking, I plan to hold onto this stock for the long term—at least 5 years. My reasons include, for example, the company’s leading position in the quantum computing market, its unique technological approach, its partnerships with major cloud providers such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, the increasing commercial use of the technology, a growing order backlog and rising revenue, a strong presence in the U.S. quantum computing sector, and the potential for technological breakthroughs in the coming years. At the same time, I’m also considering getting back into $QBTS. Unfortunately, I sold my shares too early...

@Johannes12345 That’s an exciting topic—I agree with you—but why get in now, when the stock is just fluctuating? Personally, I think the whole thing is still too far in the future, and besides, many of the hyperscalers would also benefit from it and experience corresponding growth if a breakthrough were to happen. So why invest in the sector now, when it’s so volatile?

@Pherror I totally understand your point of view, and the downside risk—which is quite significant—is certainly not small. But I’ve gotten used to jumping in early and then adding to my position if the price drops. That way, if it doesn’t drop much further, I’ll at least have a foot in the door. More than half of my portfolio consists of volatile stocks with the corresponding risk. In 10+ years, most of these stocks will most likely no longer exist 😅🤣
