Zurich Stock Exchange Day

Good evening everyone

I have just returned from my first stock market day in Zurich and it was very informative. I listened to the presentation by Thomas aka Sparkoyoten, Tim Schäfer and Lars Erichen (I didn't know him). It was very exciting and I was able to discuss a bit with Tim Schäfer in person later on. Really very likeable and down-to-earth for his now considerable wealth. We mainly discussed the topic of bitcoins and he shared my opinion that bitcoins are very risky and, unlike individual shares, had no added value. However, I only listened to the presentation, looked at a few stands and then left again as I wasn't really interested in the other presentations.

As I had attended the community meeting and dinner in the evening, I had to spend some time in the city. I went to Globus and treated myself to this lovely travel bag because it was so cheap. No, it would be nice😂 But maybe I can afford it one day with my $MC (+0,03%) dividends😅

Dinner was very tasty (Thai cuisine) and I was able to have lots of interesting conversations. In contrast to Tim Schäfer, Thomas wasn't as likeable and when I left and said goodbye he just ignored me. But no matter, the stock market day was a complete success for me with lots of new input😃

I also think Tim Schäfer is great.
Thomas the sparkojote doesn't bring me any added value. His YouTube channel is more comedy for me and it's just funny what he says with his partner.

Thanks for your summary. I'll be going there next year too. How do you get to this community meeting with dinner? Did it happen spontaneously on site?
And the most important question: Were there canapés with wine on the trading day?

@DividendenAlpaka In Tim Schäfer's last vlog he said it and there was a link in the video description. I signed up straight away because I really wanted to meet him. But that was more of a coincidence because it wasn't on my radar either. I didn't even know that there was a stock market day in Zurich.

I didn't see any snacks or wine, but there was a "restaurant" where you could buy snacks, wine, sweet drinks and even champagne. I treated myself to a bottle of water for 5 francs. But I didn't find it tragic because they have to finance themselves somehow. The event was free of charge.

Is it bad if you don't know any of the people mentioned here?

@MainTyp Then you are not yet deep enough in the financial scene or bubble :D ;)

@MainTyp No. That helps more. These people are not "rich" because of their investments, but because of such events and "followers".

@Gomerdoc the event was free and Tim Schäfer started from scratch. Inform yourself a little. Not every influencer gets everything shoved up their ass. Envy is never a good thing 😂
