has gold in its mouth! So here is another nice price target for $IMUX (+0,57%) .
The shares of Immunic Inc. (NASDAQ:IMUX) rose 7.7% on Tuesday after Guggenheim analyst Yatin Suneja initiated coverage of the company with a Buy recommendation and a USD 7.00 price target.
The company is developing vidofludimus calcium, an oral therapy for multiple sclerosis that aims to treat both relapse-related worsening and non-relapse-related progression of disease activity in relapsing and progressive MS.
Suneja noted that the drug candidate is supported by two Phase II studies in 268 patients with relapsing MS and 467 patients with progressive MS, which showed reduced relapse risk and control of disability progression. The analyst emphasized that vidofludimus calcium demonstrated a placebo-like safety profile without liver toxicity, infections or extensive monitoring.
Guggenheim expects positive topline data from the Phase III ENSURE study for the treatment of relapsing-remitting MS, which involves approximately 1,100 patients per study, by the end of 2026. The publication of Phase III results for primary progressive MS is expected around 2030.
The analyst estimates peak global sales in relapsing MS at around USD 1 billion with a 75% probability of success and in primary progressive MS at around USD 2 billion with a 60% probability of success. Immunic's fully diluted market capitalization is currently approximately USD 800 million.
