@Klein-Anleger1 not comparable - higher risk = higher chances. You can also go to the casino and bet on a number. It can bring a great return and someone succeeds there too. Unfortunately, they also lose their money. ...so everyone has to play their own game and take as much risk as they can bear. Best wishes and good luck 🍀👍🏻
@Maverick4831@Moneymoney I'm not saying that ETFs and individual shares are the same thing. Here on getquin we often discuss whether it makes sense to buy individual shares when an ETF usually works better in terms of returns anyway. And that's why I wanted to point out that you can only make such profits if, as you said, you take the risk 🙈😅
@Klein-Anleger1 Very few people manage to do this, which is why ETFs make the most sense overall. (With the right Etf selection, you can also earn a lot of money in the long term)
@Klein-Anleger1 Basically correct, but you forget that very few people achieve an excess return for decades, which looks great at the moment, but similar to the casino, it can go in the other direction with the next trade. Wallstreetbets is the best example if you want it in the extreme!
@TheRealDarthVader I agree with that. For every such trade there are countless mediocre ones and also some with losses. Long-term excess returns are simply statistically very unlikely.
@Klein-Anleger1 a very good evening i hope you are well :i have a question how could man travel to the nearest exoplanets 🧳? The nearest planet would be centauri B 4.2 light years away :Am willing to pay more for it and how does man stop mumbling the Tacco prayer ?
I'm trying to stay in, and also to endure the probably inevitable setback - so that I can sip a glass of bubbly while watching a "if you had invested 10K in this stock 10 years ago, you would be a millionaire now" video.
@BigMo Yes, you're absolutely right. I've already taken my bet out, and consider Pltr winnings to be bizarre magic money. The share was already too expensive for me to buy at €30 and at the moment I think the overvaluation has been so absurd for a long time that it doesn't matter anymore. But maybe the time has come to hedge at least a part of it with a stop loss.
Epic profit is epic profit! I'm at 400 shares with 1900% profit. Let it run for a few more years. Hoping for my first 100k position (and don't want to pay taxes at the moment)
@Super_Geroy Normally I could have done that. However, I initiated the securities account transfer from DKB -> Scalable a few days ago and wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be incapacitated in the process.
