October 19, 2026 Almonty Industries – Investor Day, 3:00 p.m. German time Update on the individual mines, tungsten price trends, the expansion of the Sangdong Mine, and financing for the next phase of growth.
@Tenbagger-Capital The further expansion (Phase II, 2027) of the Sangdong Mine is expected to double production. Phase I of the expansion was successful, and the mined volume has been sold under a long-term off-take agreement (90% of the volume); Phase II of the expansion is intended for the open market.
In addition, there is a molybdenum deposit beneath the actual tungsten seam, which is also to be mined—and, believe it or not, a purchase agreement is already in place with a South Korean steel conglomerate covering the entire volume and the mine’s entire operational life (~45+ years) at a minimum price.
In Portugal, expansion is planned for Phase IV, and the project in the U.S. is also scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Furthermore, since September, there has been a joint venture with the government of Rwanda (to collect, process, and ship tungsten ore and tailings from local producers), as well as a multi-year off-take agreement with Wolfram Bergbau & Hütten AG to supply at least 1,720 metric tons of tungsten trioxide from processing residues at the decommissioned mine in Spain, using the company’s own technology.
To the best of my knowledge, all of this is already secured through cash flow, and thus, of course, the upcoming step toward profitability as well.
