I don't know who wrote it but Brookfield $BN (+0,37%) has written a good report on their investment approach for 2026.

I read up on it, and I agree with them 100% in the first line of text: Private markets continue to grow as investors recognize the importance of private assets in achieving their long-term goals....

@Divalo yes find the thesis is actually self-explanatory. But that doesn't mean anything. In my opinion, the markets outside are significantly more overvalued than the public variants. if you look at how quickly iPos are falling and the premium at which they are still trading, you can see that there is too much capital available privately. This thesis is also supported by many other investors based on various fundamental data. Apart from that, this is more about infrastructure and even there is a lot of hype.

@topicswithhead yep that's true, there are a lot, if not far too many overrated ones, but that is and will remain the norm for the time being. I just think positively, even if it's not always the right way.
