What the heck happened on the Asian market today?

You should take a look at the price history of the stocks in question, and it's also a good idea to check the RSI indicator—that should answer your question :)

@jkb92 $285A For example, on the monthly chart, even after today's sell-off, it still has an RSI of 96—that's way overbought, man 😁

@MoneyISnotREAL If I were to say that now is (already) a good time to buy more, I’d just add “not investment advice” as a precaution, haha—they’ll come down even further.

@jkb92 It might, but it doesn't have to. My savings plan is just automatically invested in the FTSE All World Index, which includes emerging markets. If I had invested a year ago, things would look different. But my employer just pays me a monthly salary—they don't give me 30 years' worth of pay in advance 😂

@MoneyISnotREAL But once you take the time to look into technical indicators, you'll understand. It doesn't have to happen tomorrow or the day after. But when you look back in a year, you'll see what I meant.

@Paladium Like I said, take a look at some information on RSI and also on how a stock performs relative to its moving averages over the long term.
