I have now invested this too, as the high volatility of my individual shares is really stressing me out. I will gradually sell many individual shares and switch to ETFs. I also find this ETF interesting because of the equal weighting, so that there is no dependency on individual shares, as is the case with the MSCI World, for example. The monthly distribution is nice. I will also build up this ETF properly with 1,000 euros per month. I have also bought the L+G Dividend ETF for Europe and emerging markets.
@Stilgar It feels like everyone has the $TDIV - even my wife :-). Due to its large proportion of oil companies, the VanEck has survived March very well. In general, however, the vanEck has too few stocks (100 positions), some of which have a very high weighting of 6%. I find the L+G approach with almost 1,000 positions somewhat more diversified. But it remains to be seen which strategy is better. The usefulness of dividend funds in general is of course open to debate. I just want something that has less volatility.
