Under the agreement, both sides will leverage their respective strengths to deepen cooperation in areas such as manufacturing, development and operation of new energy projects, technology research and development, innovation and the nuclear power industry.
The Chairman of China Huaneng, Wen Shugang, acknowledged CATL's long-standing support $3750 (-0,89%) and highlighted the Group's progress in green transition and technological innovation.
Mr. Wen noted that as a global leader in new energy innovation, CATL already has a solid foundation for cooperation with China Huaneng. He said that the two companies should enhance their partnership and strengthen cooperation on joint innovation and technical standards to accelerate the development of a new energy and power system that is in line with China's key strategic priorities.
"With China Huaneng as the world's second largest power producer in terms of installed capacity, the company is at the forefront of innovation," said Robin Zeng, Chairman of CATL. He added that CATL values the partnership with China Huaneng and sees a strong alignment in their development strategies. Zeng also expressed the hope that both sides would further expand their cooperation in the areas of technological innovation and global markets to achieve mutually beneficial growth.
