Listed copper and silver producer $KGH (-2,13%) is holding talks with companies interested in cooperation on new electro-mobility-related products, deputy CEO for development Zbigniew Bryja said during a press conference on Thursday.
"We are in talks with entities interested in cooperation on new products. We are considering technology for producing granules and powders used in foil manufacturing for batteries. At the same time, work at the Legnica copper smelter has produced very good results on a lead-calcium alloy used in battery production," Bryja said.
"We have conducted tests and there are interested parties willing to purchase the alloy from us for battery manufacturing" he added.
