Embraer's order backlog reached a new high of 32.1 billion dollars (around 29.7 billion euros) at the end of the first quarter of 2026. This corresponds to an increase of 22 percent compared to the same period last year, according to a mandatory announcement by the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer on Monday. This is already the sixth record quarter in a row for the Group.
The commercial aircraft segment developed particularly dynamically, with the order backlog increasing by 50 percent to 15.0 billion dollars. The main driver was an order from Finnair for up to 46 E195-E2 aircraft.
In the business jet segment, the order backlog remained stable at 7.6 billion dollars. The Phenom 300 family secured the title of the world's best-selling light jet for the 14th time in a row.
The service business also achieved a new record of 5.1 billion dollars. In the defense sector, Embraer delivered a KC-390 transport aircraft to Portugal and several A-29 Super Tucano to various customers.
