Hello my dears,
It has been written here often enough that the USA wants to become independent of China when it comes to raw materials.
But little is written about the fact that it is also striving to achieve this in other technologies, such as battery and solar technology.
That's why I've quickly picked out a company for you this evening that is contributing to this.
I would like to emphasize clearly in this presentation.
Due to its enormous growth, the company certainly offers opportunityn. But you should also keep an eye on the debt and the negative free cash flow. Which is also a risk could be a risk.
I look forward to your assessment and opinions in the comments.
T1. is a company that manufactures solar products. The company is a provider of clean energy solutions and is building an integrated supply chain for solar modules and batteries in the United States (U.S.). The company owns a five gigawatt (GW) solar module manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas. The company is also focusing on expanding its activities in the Americas.
Number of employees: 328
T1 operates one of the world's most advanced solar module manufacturing facilities in G1 Dallas
T1 Energy is advanced American manufacturing. Using state-of-the-art robotics and AI, employees oversee efficient module production. Next up: solar cells from a new facility outside Austin.
T1 is the only U.S. company capable of providing domestic content at scale with industry-leading P and N technologies
The US pioneer for a self-sufficient energy transition
T1 Energy is a pioneer in establishing a purely US-based solar supply chain to massively reduce dependence on Asian imports through domestic production in Texas. By expanding its own cell production and combining photovoltaics with battery storage, the company covers the entire value chain and thus secures higher margins and competitive advantages. The business model is currently benefiting massively from the tax credits of the Inflation Reduction Act, which are accelerating aggressive growth and expansion.
T1 Energy builds integrated US solar platform: Sales jump from USD 2.9 million to USD 408 million

The energy technology company's decision to relocate its headquarters from Norway to the USA in February 2025 continues to prove to be spot on. A key milestone was the acquisition of Trina Solar's US production facilities in December 2024. Solar capacities are now set to more than double in the second half of 2026. This should further accelerate the immense growth: In Q4 2024, T1 generated its first ever revenue of USD 2.9 million and increased this to USD 210.5 million in Q3 2025.
T1 Energy: Solar meets battery - planned rise to heavyweight of the energy transition by 2030
19.09.2025
The manufacturer of energy solutions for environmentally friendly batteries could become an exciting growth story in the coming years. The company generated its first revenue of USD 2.9 million in Q4 2024 and expanded this to USD 132.8 million in Q2 2025 within just two quarters. The global rebranding of FREYR Battery to T1 Energy in February 2025 should also contribute to the company's long-term success.
