Deutsche Börse Q3 2026 – Exceeded Expectations, Forecast Raised. Is the Path Clear to €350? 📈

Deutsche Börse has released its third-quarter 2026 results. And they’re certainly impressive. The company exceeded prior expectations in terms of revenue, EBITDA, and earnings per share.

attachment

Net revenue rose 13% year-over-year, EBITDA by 16%, and earnings per share by 20%. The EBITDA margin reached an impressive 59.9%.

The operating growth is particularly noteworthy.

Excluding treasury results, net revenue rose by 14% and EBITDA by as much as 19%. The operating margin improved to around 53.7%.

This shows that growth is not driven exclusively by the interest rate environment or higher investment income.

Where is this growth coming from?

Trading & Clearing remains the most important revenue driver, with €714 million in net revenue (+18%). Fund Services grew by 17%, and Securities Services by 9%.

However, not everything went smoothly. While Investment Management Solutions increased its revenue by 7%, it recorded a 24% decline in EBITDA. This warrants a closer look.

The forecast for 2026 has been raised.

Deutsche Börse now expects net revenue of over €6.5 billion and EBITDA of around €3.9 billion. Treasury earnings are also expected to be higher than previously forecast, at over €800 million.

Another positive development is the completion of the €500 million share buyback program. On the risk side, factors include the planned Allfunds acquisition, integration risks, and certain legal uncertainties.

📈 And what does this mean for the stock price?

Technically, the situation is interesting. The stock recently broke through the €300 level and closed at around €307 on October 20.

In my view, this points to three interesting price ranges:

  • €300: Key support and breakout zone. A sustained drop below this level would be a warning sign.
  • €312–313: Next short-term resistance range. A breakout above this level could unleash further momentum.
  • €350: Possible medium-term technical price target, provided the uptrend is confirmed.

Furthermore, Fibonacci projections theoretically suggest significantly higher levels up to around €500. However, this is a long-term technical extreme scenario and expressly not a fundamental valuation or a reliable price forecast.

My conclusion:

Deutsche Börse delivered a convincing quarter. Revenue, EBITDA, and profit exceeded expectations, the core business is growing, and the full-year forecast has been raised.

Nevertheless, the stock is not a sure thing. Weakness in the investment management business, potential integration costs, and the valuation remain key factors.

The crucial question now is whether the market will reward the strong results accordingly and whether the technical breakout will be confirmed.

What’s your take on Deutsche Börse? Is €350 realistic in the medium term, or has much of the positive momentum already been priced in?

Data as of: October 20, 2026. The consensus figures correspond to the analyst expectations mentioned above; technical price levels are scenarios, not investment recommendations.

Thanks for the post, Toni! 🙏🏽 I held $DB1 in my portfolio for a few months at the beginning of the year and was able to generate a good return in that short time. 😁

@Aktienhauptmeister I saw on Börse Online TV at lunchtime today that the price target of €350 is clear so far; technically speaking, according to the Fibu Filter, the path is clear all the way up to a good €450–500.

@Raketentoni I'm not much of a technical analyst, but it would obviously be a total blast if it hit the 450–500 € mark!🚀👀

@Aktienhauptmeister The chances aren't great, but theoretically, the way is clear 🤷
