Nvidia driving the AI revolution
Nvidia $NVDA (+0,15%) is the undisputed key player in the rapid AI revolution, and this is not going unnoticed. Dan Ives, a respected analyst, dares to make a bold prediction: the company's market value could climb to an impressive five trillion euros. Interest in AI applications is booming and extends across all sectors, from companies to autonomous systems. Ives emphasizes that many investors underestimate Nvidia's almost unlimited growth opportunities. Especially given the current market developments, which are characterized by the absence of China, the market landscape could change permanently. With an estimated quarterly turnover of over eight billion euros, which could grow to up to 12 billion euros in the near future, Nvidia's enormous potential in the AI industry and how this technology will shape the future is evident.
Company bankruptcies in Germany at a ten-year high
A worrying trend is emerging in Germany: the number of corporate insolvencies reached an alarming high in the first half of 2025. Almost 12,000 companies filed for insolvency, an increase of 9.4 percent compared to the previous year. According to the credit agency Creditreform, the causes of this development are complex and range from a weakening economy and rising costs to ongoing uncertainties that are putting many companies under pressure. Creditreform warns that the economic situation will not improve in the short term, which will further increase the risk of insolvency. The estimated bad debt losses from these bankruptcies amount to around 33.4 billion euros, while the number of jobs affected has risen to around 141,000. The economic consequences are considerable and can trigger chain reactions that affect not only individual companies, but the entire economy.
