Well, sector ETFs are usually more expensive than broader ETFs. And often it is not worth it, the semi has only made about 1.5% YTD against the nasdaq with 8% at 0.35%ter vs 0.05%ter

@Variett However, if you bought at this year's low in April, the performance looks considerably better😉 Unfortunately I didn't, but the author obviously did🚀

@All-in-or-nothing well, if you buy everything at the low, individual stocks are even better :P

@Variett but you must have picked the right ones this year😉 it's not about buying at the low, but the semi ETF went down so sharply in April and is now up again that it's quite significant. YTD can of course be compared, but it doesn't make sense (at least in this case), as this was specifically about timing and of course it is always about the investment horizon or the goal of Investments🤷🏼♂️
