Product Update: Trade Republic Import

Dear Community,


App version 2.231.0 went live this morning, with a new, stable connection to Trade Republic.


The last few weeks have been frustrating for many of you, especially on Android: you could only update your portfolio manually or via CSV, not automatically as usual. The responsibility for this lies with us. I would like to personally apologize for this.


We have completely rebuilt the connection, added additional monitoring and are working more closely with Trade Republic to identify potential import problems before they affect you.

Please update to 2.231.0. If you still have any problems, please write to help@getquin.comwe will look into every case.

I don't use the service and import manually. But I think it's great that you're getting in touch here on the platform 👍

@christian It is very pleasing that the connection is now more stable. However, there is a problem (at least with my securities account) that positions continue to be displayed with incorrect values after the automatic connection.

Any update on Fineco connection ?

It actually worked for me the whole time. I'll wait and see what the beta testers report before I update 🙂

Well all nice and fine but after deleting my whole etoro portfolio that I couldn't mantain by hand since last year (to many changes to keep up with) ... i connected it freshly to Etoro but everything is a big mess now ... positions are missing ... the overall numbers are not adding up to reflect Etoro=Reality, 6k are just missing ... and also the way the whole portfolio is displayed is unusable ... if it doesn't reflect the whole thing it doesn't make any sense ... cancelled my subscription that would continue in August.

Unfortunately, the import of smartbroker+ has not worked for me for over a year!

@Charlyfirpo Data security: have you ever looked at the details on the joint responsibility of the account holder of banks/deposit account operators? Question of joint liability and so on...

@Charlyfirpo Why should I constantly be bothered with the interface problem? I'm not a trader, so there's not much movement in my portfolio.
... my main tracking tool is also my Excel spreadsheet - unbeatable 😉

@GHF You are absolutely right! But I think that once the API has been built properly, only initial changes should be taken into account, legal requirements, etc. My so-called premium subscription is also against this. When I pay, I also expect basic functions to run stably. If something doesn't work for 2 months, you can also think about a refund. But that's a different topic.

@KeePon We simply don't get any clean data so far, which is why we can't support it.

But we now have better contacts with Trade Republic to possibly create more opportunities there too.
Unfortunately, we can't make any promises.

@gomes21_ As written in the post you need to update to Version 2.231.0 with the mobile App.
You are still on 2.230.0 :)

I reently closed my trade republic account, it's arguably the worst app I've ever used UX/UI wise.
@cardonator from all the broker apps it's imho now the best. Where else can you see the performance of all your single buys per stock?

Go to setting and setup content to Spanish. it will automatically translate to Spanish.

@FreiBier Has been technically supported for a few months now. :)

However, the prerequisite is that the general settlement account is already managed as a normal cash account in our asset overview and is no longer in the portfolio.
If you still have the settlement account in the portfolio, a new import must be carried out once.

(We retrieve the transaction history as provided by Scalable. Any manual changes must be made again manually).

I didn't even notice that there was a problem. Only the private equity prices are somehow displayed incorrectly. But that is still the case.

It would be great if my Deka and Bevestor custody account data could also be transmitted via my savings bank account instead of displaying it as 0.00.
What about the cash positions at Trade Republic? They always end up in the investments and distort the picture. Can I somehow move them to another area?

@Smash Perform a clean new import once. A cash account is then automatically created and updated in the total assets when the connection is updated.
