Hello everyone I have finally taken the plunge and started investing in ETFs and shares beyond the FTSE All World savings plan.
I'm 22 and currently in the middle of my education, but that's exactly why I want to start early enough to get to grips with the subject and also the practice.
I'm going to be completely open and transparent: I copied a tech-heavy "Magnificent 20" pie from a user on Trading212, as I believe that this industry has a rosy future for obvious reasons (after I've looked into the companies, of course) and created my own rather conservative pie with "safe" ETFs such as the ever-popular $VWRL (+0,15%) , $VFEM (+0%) and $CSNDX (-0,69%) and also plan to invest in gold as an additional safety buffer, as you never know what the price will do. My aim here is to build up assets over the long term, i.e. 10-20 years.
So far I can't say anything about the results as this has only been running for 2 weeks and has so far brought 30ct plus, but I would still be very interested in what the community has to say about this structure and whether I am on the "right" path or should rebuild quickly before I go looking for a deposit.
