@DividendenMax above all, you can collect it nicely for 3 years and then refund it in one so that the "effort" is worthwhile. That's why I always don't understand the talk about withholding tax.
@DividendenMax I get a voucher from the bank. It should now also work with the dividend voucher. There is a portal for withholding tax refunds. You register there, enter some information and the complete application is then made available for you to download. Part of it is the certificate of residence. You have this stamped by the tax office. Once this is done, you send it to Bern with the application. They finalize your application and pay out the money. All in all, it takes about 4 weeks.
Comdirect simply charges fees for the voucher...unfortunately I have to live with that. But the refund is only worthwhile from a certain amount/costs/effort. That's why I always collect 3years
