Never miss important stock market dates again - thanks to AI!

Are you familiar with this?

Quarterly figures, interest rate decisions, dividend dates - and you always find out about them too late?

No more of that. With tools like ChatGPT you can automatically import all relevant stock market dates into your calendar - e.g. as an .ics file for Apple, Google or Outlook.

The best part: You can even to your personal portfolio.

Here is the prompt to try it out (you are welcome to design it individually):

Please create an .ics file with all important stock market dates (e.g. quarterly figures, annual general meetings, dividend payments) for the following stocks (each with WKN):

- WKN1

- WKN2

- WKN3

Each date should be entered in the calendar at 18:00 on the respective day. Please add a reminder 2 hours before the respective date. The file should be suitable for import into the iOS calendar (alternatively: Android/Samsung). In addition, I need a calendar entry in 6 months that reminds me to update this file. Please provide me with the download link to the .ics file.

You can import the file directly into your calendar - done.

@Therapeut Are you not interested in the economic situation of the companies in which you are a shareholder?

@xXnadXx I invest for the future, it doesn't matter to me what tomorrow's figures will be

Still it would be great to have these dates in getquin too. They are working on this 😀

The problem with such prompts is that ChatGPT unfortunately makes a lot of mistakes. You get dates, but not all of them. If you want to rely on it, you have to check it carefully and add the missing ones manually.

I tried everything for 30 minutes, but couldn't add the file to my iphone calendar. Do you have a tutorial or something?

Hi, since there seem to be problems, I have improved the prompt. @trump give it a try. You should receive a file for download from GPT, which you can open via smartphone or laptop and use to create the calendar entries.

Optimized prompt:

@HedgeHannes thank you for the effort and the answer. I just don't know how to get the file into my calendar. I have saved it in my files app, but the calendar app does not appear as an option in the share function

Can also recommend the free app "Quartr" for this! Only no dividend payments, but getquin already does that(?)

@trump Has it worked in the meantime? If it doesn't work on your cell phone, try it on your laptop!

@HedgeHannes I've given up, but it's very nice of you to ask

Who is currently interested in quarterly figures 😂 If at all, then install social truth and see when Trump writes time to buy again

Danke!

It's also very easy with the Quartr app, create a watchlist and import it into the calendar.
