Everything done right !

Monday and Tuesday I made a big gamble and bought a lot of $HIMS (-26,15%) and bought in big.

The speculation: Hims is profitable, good figures will come. Despite the ATH, I put all my eggs in one basket in the hope of a nice candle.

From 62€ I sold two euros of price growth each in tranches of 25, there should be a little security after all ^^

On the way home the sell orders were suddenly triggered and in the evening on the couch the spook was already over. I didn't expect it to happen so early. The stake is safely back at the bank, a total of 120 units have crossed the table.

A tiny little plus increases the cash balance, 10 (free) shares remain in the custody account for the time being.

I am happy :)

Why do you think you've done everything right?
The very fact that you describe 10 shares as free (they are not) and keep them in your portfolio (without a strategy) is an indication of a typical cognitive bias (anchor effect) and the fact that you publish it in this way is an indication of herding.
Under cognitive bias, you never get everything right. 🤷

@Epi look, I even get a psychological diagnosis ;)
Someone is sitting very high up on their horse.
If any distortions are not to be found elsewhere.

Why did I do everything right?
It says so, probably in overly simple language.
I speculated and I was right. I've got my stake back in, which was important to me in the short term (also in view of the current falling price). I still have some left and can get more euros out of it if the price continues to rise, but I haven't defined a time horizon for this (my stake is already safe again).

After all, that's what we're in the stock market for - we want to
A) increase it
B) preserve it in the long term and transfer it into the future with increased purchasing power.

This trade falls under A).

I didn't know that I wasn't allowed to share this experience in a public forum.

Sorry for that :/
I limit myself to reading the highest quality analyses 😘

@Artiskon The saying "A dog barked at a dog" fits 1:1 to the novel you wrote here 😂

@Epi As beginners on the stock market, with apprentice money @Artiskon we used to be happy with a profit of 100-200 euros. Now we are spending 10Teur on Wirecard. Even if digital and the internet have changed and improved a lot, you always have to learn the hard way

@Smudeo That's what it looks like! I'm just saying 95k 3xGTAA. 😅

The key is to actually see the initial losses and gains as learning and keep learning until you're ready for the bigger amounts. "Everything done right." is somehow exactly the opposite attitude. 🤨

But everyone should learn at their own pace.

@Epi It is important to stay in the stock market even if you lose money. I know many people who say that I lost thousands of euros 4, 10, 15, 25 years ago, never again in shares.

It's relatively easy to assess: Does he have more money than before? He has. So he did everything right.
