Beginner's question

I'm still pretty much at the beginning of my portfolio. In your opinion, should I continue to expand my core in the current situation or take advantage of the bargains at $GOOGL (-2,74%) , $NVDA (-7,25%) and co? :)

Preferably both 🙂

It depends on how much money you have available. I would put most of the available money into the core and the rest into the bargains.

You already have everything in the Core, Google & co. in there.

Greetings,
first of all, great that you want to invest at all! 😎
I would recommend the core to start with, but of course it depends on how much you are involved with the individual stocks - if you have already delved deeper here and looked at the companies, there is nothing to be said against investing in individual stocks.

However, when you buy into companies that you don't really understand, there is always the risk of selling out of panic when prices go red (they can always go down) - which you can of course regret afterwards. 😅

So if you are sure what you are doing and know that you need patience and stamina, then go for it! Otherwise, buying into the core ETF makes more sense for more passive investing, imo! 😄
