I believe that things are going downwards with fluctuations and that the US economy will slide into a dip and only with luck will it be able to avoid a recession. All indicators are pointing downwards. All outlooks are cautious. So when it comes to US investments, I think strong stock picking is the order of the day. And I think theNASDAQ 100 as a whole can be expected to underperform significantly.

Investing is not a 'moment'. It's about the long run.

About every 16 months the're is a 10% correction. 3 times a year about a 5% pullback and about every 7 years a 20%+ plunge. So with just 10% correction: double the buys of my SPY5 S&P500 ETF.. ;)

Buffet once said "never bet against America" well I guess it is outdated. Even he right now is sitting on big cash pile after reducing some US positions and recently invested more in Japanese companies. At this moment we saw some corrections but I believe we will see crash after Q1/Q2 ernings season.
Indeed investing is not moment, but longer run - that's true, but there is high risk at this moment if you invest now in 5 years you will be only break even.
