NEW: revised dashboard view, investment target tracker & portfolio AI import

Hello everyone,

We are very happy to announce a major update today. Our new app version includes several new features that will make your investment experience smoother, smarter and more motivating. All of these updates are available to all users, regardless of your subscription status.

1️⃣ A clearer, more intuitive dashboard

We've redesigned the app's navigation to make it easier for you to find what's important.

Your dashboard now gives you a clear overview of your portfolio - transactions and sold positions are displayed directly below your positions and are accessible with a tap. You can also access your watchlist directly from there.

2️⃣ Introduction of the Investment Goal Tracker

We don't just want to help you analyze your portfolio, we also want to help you build wealth consistently.

With the new Investment Goal Tracker you can:

  • set a monthly investment goal
  • see when you reach, miss or exceed your goal
  • track your progress over time and continue your streak

It's all about helping you stay motivated and achieve your long-term financial goals.

3️⃣ Smarter portfolio import with AI

With the new AI import, you can now upload almost any file - CSV, XLS, PDF or even a screenshot - and our AI will automatically recognize your holdings. You don't have to enter anything manually, no matter which bank or broker you use.

We hope you enjoy these updates! As always, your feedback is very important to us - it helps us to continue to improve and provide you with the best possible experience.

P.S.: The update will be rolled out gradually - iOS users can already download version 2.203 from the App Store, for Android it will be available in the next few days.

Very good. The AI import in particular is brilliant. 👍🏻

@DividendenWaschbaer yes, I think I'll try out the screenshot function and use it to import semi-automatically for the first time ever

@DonkeyInvestor good luck and feel free to report back.

@DividendenWaschbaer if it has to be
Actually a good idea, especially with the goal tracker. But unfortunately it doesn't work at all because the investments are not recognized. I have a call money account, current account and custody account with dkb and transactions between the accounts are tracked as expenses and not, for example, as a savings installment or custody savings plan. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but this works with other trackers by default

@szmb12 We are looking into this case :)
imagem de perfil
@szmb12 Holding basis transactions are not included in the tracker. You should set your target from when you first imported your portfolio to ensure you get accurate figures. Cash transfers are not included in the tracker as it is an "investment target tracker". I hope that clears things up!
No, unfortunately it does not clarify it because no etf savings plans are taken into account as I see it. I only see the manually added transactions there @Gqnina

Very nice! Something like the Goaltrackers is something very small but practical. Now that I've seen it for myself, I wouldn't want to be without it!

Is it possible to implement the monthly rewinds in the Goaltracker?

@Tacticus Good idea, we'll think about it :)

Great, I'm excited 🤞

Now that I've tried Goaltracker, unfortunately I can't find any settings after the initial setup where I can change my income, which is the basis for my savings rate.
Unfortunately, I can only change the observation period and savings rate, but not the income from which the savings rate itself is derived.

@Tacticus We will add it in the next version!

How about 3 month and 3 year chart views? Would be a great added value in my opinion. Or do you have them if you have a Premium subscription?
But the announced updates sound very good. I'm looking forward to it.

@der_Don You can set individual time periods.

@der_Don Once in the benchmark (you can only take the portfolio without a benchmark) or also under Performance.
@DividendenWaschbaer Thanks for the hint. I would find it (probably like @der_Don ) very cool if each security and portfolio could simply be shown with 3-month and 3-year charts. Benchmarking is cumbersome I find.

@Gqnina

It may not be important for everyone, but it would be very useful:

1- If you could choose in the benchmark comparison whether you want to compare the total return or just the price of an ETF, a stock or a portfolio (for extra ETFs this is well solved). I am explicitly building a dividend portfolio, where dividends or e.g. interest income play an important role in the comparison. You shouldn't always have to go to "performance" separately and jump back and forth with each portfolio.

2- In the dividend section, the coupon payments are not shown, they are not added to the column even if they are manually added to the portfolio. I think the same would apply to interest received. It should be possible to check that only the dividends or also other income are added to the "Monthly dividends" column.

The fact that I can no longer see the positions in the portfolio at first glance but have to click on "Show more" is really annoying. It would be great if it was back to the way it used to be

Otherwise a great update!

Wow great features, think many will be happy about the Goal Tracker. It's great that it's accessible to everyone👌

@Dominvest Happy to read :)
Cool features, thanks!
Is it possible to edit the monthly net income somewhere after the initial creation of the investment tracker?
imagem de perfil
@MaxtheCat Not for now but we will add it shortly!

Where has the watchlist gone? 🤔
imagem de perfil
@randomdude Without having done the update, but on the screenshot below left.
imagem de perfil
@randomdude directly below the chart in the portfolio.
imagem de perfil
@randomdude on the dashboard below the item list :)
imagem de perfil
Thanks for the answers. I have version 2.203 (i.OS) but do not see a watchlist - neither under the chart nor under the position list. Do I need Premium for this?

imagem de perfil
@randomdude This is not to be expected, we are checking the problem!

imagem de perfil
@randomdude Same with me, I don't see a watchlist either
Seems cool. Will it be rolled out on the web as well?
imagem de perfil
@lookingforpassive_income only the AI import is available on web. The investment tracker, it's only available on mobile for now!

Where is the goal tracker?
imagem de perfil
@hormigo On Mobile on the new Wealth page (right item on the nav bar). You need the latest app version to see it (2.203) :)
@Gqnina ok! I am premium not wealth! Thats why i cant see it
imagem de perfil
@hormigo It's for everyone! You can access the page and the feature for free.
@Gqnina i am in the iOS 2.203 and its not visible… Maybe a bug? Could you post a screenshot?
imagem de perfil
@hormigo I can't post screenshot in comments unfortunately, but it seems like you are on 2.201. Please delete the app, go to the app store and download it again, this should work :)
@Gqnina Reinstall the app works like a charm! But the numbers show by month are not correct! What it is the formula?
Apart from my other comment, the update has not worked since then and aborts with a cryptic error message. Unfortunately, it somehow doesn't get any better
imagem de perfil
Nice! Appears also the reset of the “start date” is not working on the investment track! I put on for beginning or the year, and now I want it to start in Oct, but it keeps tracking begging of the year! Great feature though :)
imagem de perfil
@TheFlyingChris I think it will be changeable with the next update.

Great update BUT... since 4 updates I have the problem that when I enter something in the search function and scroll through the result, after some time (about 6-10 posts) I am simply thrown back to the top... which is very annoying... would be nice if that was fixed! Otherwise one of the best apps for stocks and co! Hats off!

A quick question: Is the monthly investment quota or target offset against sales? Because I constantly invest the same amount each month via a savings plan, but in some months where I have made reallocations via sales, I have a negative value there and in the following month I have the amount from the savings plan + reallocation amount. Personally, I find this misleading because my savings plans run consistently regardless of reallocations.

What I'm missing is the share price on the overview page. I don't want to click on each individual share to see the current price... Is that planned? @Kundenservice
