What the ETF tracks is neither a sector nor an industry. If you have looked at the exact criteria and find the ETF's approach totally sensible, you can decide for yourself whether it is worth the fee.
For me personally, this kind of thing is just a catch-all product where the name sounds cool and whether the content beats the market in the longer term is more a matter of luck. But you can see it differently.

@DoppelSchlechtMinus I understand the point but since I do not want to deal with the analysis of individual stocks I think that's a pretty good choice but of course you never know if you beat the market that's right, what's your strategy?

@Max1102 I only take individual shares in companies that I want to invest in, so I think your approach is exactly right.
Tech and tech profiteers are very highly weighted in the MSCI World anyway. I wouldn't put a gimmick ETF on it, but would rather stick with it. If you're not enthusiastic about doing your own analysis, you can take advantage of the privilege of being able to simply swim with the market these days with cheap and efficient ETFs.
My own strategy tends to complement this in a more conservative direction, but I'm no longer young and I'm just building up assets.
