Entry times

Hello everyone,

I would be interested to know what amount (in €) you would invest in the following shares? The companies are certainly also suitable for savings plans. However, I would like to have a "starting position" first.

You are also welcome to use this as a suggestion for discussion in the comments ✌🏽

Legitimate question, of course you want to get in low. Don't understand some of the answers here... $MCD Looks good, but would wait a few more days. $COST Going even lower, would look again in a few weeks. $WMT No plan, would be too tricky for me $WM If there is no uptrend yet, better wait and see. You have not mentioned your investment horizon, if HODL, then I would stay away from US stocks for the time being, as currency losses can be expected, for trading over a few weeks this is relatively insignificant. At any time, but they are all highly valued because they are quality stocks and they are not the price rockets but rather the security building blocks. Good dividends but the share price growth is lacking. You can already get in now, just don't expect a price rocket.

Well, the others aren't really any good. I didn't look at Cost, which had a nice rocket but collapsed again. By price rockets I mean something like nvidia who have longer growth. Not just in the short term. And you also have to see that they are very dependent on consumption and also pay out larger dividends. And it was about an entry point today and they will no longer have the biggest price growth.

@DerUnwissende Costco has beaten the Nasdaq100 in every period (20 years, 10 years, 5 years, 3 years, 1 year).
But you're sure to find the price rockets that perform like Nvidia in time. 👍

Yes costo, but not necessarily the others. I also have a different strategy. Everyone has to invest the way they can best live with it without having to worry too much.

If you make savings plans on shares, they should not be shares that are volatile
I would advise you to go for solid, "boring" companies

They can go down or up, but have been steadily increasing their dividend for 80 years

I find the zone between €250 and €225 at $MCD exciting. I entered this area myself. In my opinion, it is a worthwhile zone in the long term.
