You're very welcome, I'm invested in Shell and it's very welcome to go up ⬆️......
However, I don't think it will happen so quickly and suddenly.

@Sansebastian Correct! Buying costs money, price falls, the share that is bought could rise depending on the offer. However, SHELL and BP is more of a merger than a purchase from one to the other.

I don't need this takeover, I think BP is currently undervalued and it's one of the biggest positions in my portfolio, as well as being a good cash generator. I can hardly imagine that Shell would put so much on it that BP shareholders would be satisfied, on the other hand you would then be invested in a big player after the merger.
