$DRO (-17,18%) has withdrawn an ASX announcement released yesterday morning as it misinformed investors that the company had secured $7.6 million via three new contracts with the US government.
The company said the contracts listed in the earlier announcement - which had sent DroneShield shares up 8.5% before a trading suspension - "do not represent new orders".
The contracts were previous orders that were reissued by the same customer due to regulatory updates, DroneShield said.
What they said: "The November contracts were inadvertently marked as new contracts instead of revised contracts due to an administrative error," the company explained.
