Dividend Avance Gas Holding Ltd, Ex-Date: 18.02.2025

$AGAS (-7,37%) Hello everyone, a question for the shareholders.

Have any of you received the dividend payment of 2$ / share (ex-date: 18.02.2025 / payment date: 27.02.2025) ?

https://newsweb.oslobors.no/message/638339

The BW LPG shares were also credited, but not the dividend, or have I misunderstood something here?

Uodate from 09.03.2025:

Baader Bank has now made several bookings for me.

A return of capital entry was made on 06.03.2025.

But not in the amount of USD 2 per share, but NOK 2 (Norwegian kroner).

This corresponds to an amount of 0.168954 EUR / share

And the hit in this context is that my exemption order was debited with EUR 2 / share.

Things must be going wrong at Baader Bank.

I'm actually wondering why a capital repayment should be charged to the exemption order at all. This is not actually income at all, but reduces the acquisition costs. Accordingly, a lower loss would be reported on the sale.

?? Perhaps someone here in the community can explain this to me if I am wrong

Many thanks for your information

For me yes
••
@INOT Good to know, thank you. Then Baader Bank must be extremely slow again. Was this booked as a normal dividend for you? According to the publication, this is actually a capital repayment

@Cyberjack So on the PDF document from Trade it says Dividend on the overview it says Capital distribution but has been booked under Dividend
••
@INOT So in my opinion, it is not correct that the tax-free amount is charged. A capital repayment reduces the acquisition value and is not income that reduces the exemption order

Apart from the dividend, what has happened to the company? Today -23%

@Fabianfeuer the company is dissolved and merged into another company. There is also an extra dividend today.
••
Are you with trade
••
No, I have the shares with Scalable, i.e. Baader Bank
••
@Petomba No, Scalable, but once again it seems to be a problem of the slow Baader Bank. Hope this will improve at Scalable with the transition at the end of the year
••
Hi, I got the BW shares...but the February dividend hasn't shown up for me yet either. Strange
••
Are you possibly also with Scalable or Baader Bank?
••
@Cyberjack ja, scalable
••
@Cyberjack Check your dividend carefully. I'm currently writing to scalable support because Bader Bank paid me 90% too little dividend. Instead of 2 dollars per share, they simply used NOK 2 per share as the basis for the calculation. Converted into euros, this amounts to a huge loss. I'll stay on the ball.
Did everything work out for you?
••
@RP73 tomorrow, yes, I noticed that too. It was the same for me. Have a look at the amount on the second page that goes down from the exemption order. That's two euros per share. I had already added this to my entry at the start of this discussion

@Cyberjack And? Has Bader Bank corrected theh and paid the correct dividend?
••
@RP73 I also had an adjustment entry today and the amount looks correct for the time being. I'm just waiting for the statement to be deposited. That always takes what feels like an eternity. I hope that with the transition to Scalable everything will be a bit faster

I received both and the next dividend from $AGAS will be paid on March 15.

@dividenden_pilot I'm glad to hear that. Yes, this will be the last dividend from Avance Gas before they close. There may be a mini capital payout at the end. There are still payments coming in for the remaining ships they have sold

The perspective for $AGAS looks really bad. Yeah there are the new stocks from $BWLPG but it's not the dividends helicopter that Avance gas is/was.

What's your say? For me it would be science-fiction if they get to pay the May dividend, but who knows...
••
@serkeftin I think BW LPG is very well positioned with the acquisition of the ships from Avance Gas. LNG is a big topic in Europe in the coming years. I already had a small position in BW LPG and was happy about the restructuring.

I haven´t

Actually almost a case for Bafin. Baderbank collected a dividend of 2 dollars per share and then paid out the equivalent of only 20 cents per share. If they do that with thousands of shares, then they have made a good profit.
••
Update 13.03.25: Today the corrected February dividend was paid out by Bader Bank. But only after I had contacted them. Let's see how it looks with the current dividend.
••
Update: Today, the one correction entry was also displayed in Scalable and the correct amount was posted. However, I am still wondering whether it is correct to offset a capital repayment against the exemption order.
