I meant that in an absolutely positive way, I think it's really charming how you handle it for yourself😬. Even if it could hardly be more strategically contrary in the external perception😂.
@Epi It's exactly the same at mir🤷🏼♂️😂. After all, the inner gambler has to be satisfied for the good of the whole. It doesn't help, otherwise it only makes you weak in your actual strategy.
@All-in-or-nothing This is what it looks like. The punter portfolio is the psychological outlet for the admittedly rather boring strategy portfolios. The punter portfolio also makes you a little humble about your own timing competence. And it is a relatively uncorrelated portfolio component. Although I have to admit that when I gamble, I increasingly focus on the asset classes that are also at the top of the GTAA models. Gold is up, so I try silver, platinum, palladium. BTC is plummeting, so I prefer to leave it with the altcoins. Sometimes I even get something out of it. 😅
@Epi Humility is the magic word. Imagine putting a large amount of money into a title and it quintuples within a few months. Then you might feel invincible and carry on and end up with less. Successful gambles are good, if things go wrong someone else has my money. But you have the sense of achievement and also the pain. And you continue to concentrate on your core strategy. It's almost like cheating. And even if you get caught 😉😂
