What's going on with Kawasaki?

$7012 (+1,59%) After the share came through March relatively well, it has now fallen very sharply since yesterday. I had only read that Kawasaki is once again eligible to bid for defense contracts, which sounds pretty good. But the share price looks different.

Do you know anything more specific? Are you staying on board? Many thanks Dank🙏🏼

It has risen by 59% since YTD. So yesterday's few % are absolutely irrelevant. 😬

@ShrimpTheGimp That is certainly true - but today it is already going down again and this time very significantly. Is there something fundamental behind this?

The stock market in Japan is always very extreme and +/-5% intraday is more common. Does anyone know why the premiums there are generally so extreme?

@Tenbagger2024 Do you have any idea? I think you introduced them once, didn't you? Anyway, I think it's because of you that I have them on my list and am waiting for moments like today 😄

They are now also in the arms business: prospect of peace?

@Underwood_F I have no news on Kawasaki, but the geopolitical situation in Iran is hitting Asia, and therefore Japan, the hardest. I therefore see a short-term correction in the shares that have already performed well. In the long term, however, I still see potential due to the many growth sectors. I myself remain relaxed here and continue to be invested. @PikaPika0105

@Tenbagger2024 I got out and therefore didn't take a closer look.

@Tenbagger2024 but I had a look at the Japanese media and there is actually only positive news

@PikaPika0105 haven't found anything either. But Siemens Energy is also losing well today, perhaps it is due to the energy sector in the turbine area 🤷🏻‍♂️

@PikaPika0105 NEC looks like it is bottoming out. Perhaps it is worthwhile to regroup

@Tenbagger2024 I'm also out of NEC 😅 But I still believe in NEC. After all, they are also participating in SoftBank's new AI JV in Japan. Have sold all positions of which I expect less than 10x and shifted into riskier stocks

I just keep my savings plan running.

@Multibagger The savings plan on such a 'normal' share always irritates me a bit when I look at your other trades 😉😄
When would you get out of the stock? I have +40% now and am thinking about a partial exit. It's difficult to get accurate information about Japanese shares and I'd hate to miss something 🤔

@IronEagle I have a few normal shares in my savings plan. Especially the Asian ones. In addition to $7012, I also have $1347 or $9880

Looks like classic rebalancing to me. The thing is up 50% on 1Y - profit taking

The company is rock solid, so I don't even think about such small movements 😉

I only joined the savings plan a few months ago. It would be interesting to see what's behind it. Then I might invest more straight away.
