I’ve been a huge admirer of Palmer Luckey and his company Anduril for a while now. Their vision of reshaping defense through autonomous systems and cutting-edge tech is something I deeply believe in. Since Anduril isn’t publicly traded, I started looking for ways to invest in it indirectly - and that’s how I found Kraken Robotics.
The deeper I dug into Kraken, the more impressed I became. They’re not just building sonar systems and underwater drones - they’re building the infrastructure for the future of maritime intelligence. Their fundamentals are solid, their tech is advanced, and their positioning couldn’t be more relevant.
With rising geopolitical tensions and the growing need for underwater surveillance, especially as nations scramble to counter China’s massive naval fleet, Kraken’s tech feels like it’s in the right place at the right time. People often call this a niche - I disagree. The ocean is vast, mysterious, and largely unexplored. We know more about space than we do about the deep sea. That’s not a niche - that’s an opportunity.
I’ve just started a position and plan to build it gradually over the coming months. Kraken might not be a household name yet, but I see it as a strategic play in a space that’s about to get a lot more attention. Let’s see where this goes.
