Core Depot Addition 🇯🇵 Kawasaki Heavy Industries

Today I expanded my core portfolio with shares of $7012 (-5,33%) Kawasaki Heavy Industries.

By the way, I first became aware of the stock through @Tenbagger2024 .

Since then, Kawasaki has been on my watchlist, and the more I’ve looked into the company, the more interesting it’s become to me.

Many people know Kawasaki primarily for its motorcycles and jet skis. In reality, however, it’s a diversified industrial conglomerate with operations in the following sectors:

⚙️ Robotics

✈️ Aerospace

🛡️ Defense

🚄 Rail vehicles

🚢 Shipbuilding

🔋 Hydrogen technologies

For me, this position is less of a short-term bet on returns and more of another building block for diversifying my core portfolio.

With SoftBank, Itochu, and Sumitomo, this is already the fourth Japanese holding in my portfolio. Japan is thus increasingly becoming a pillar in its own right within my long-term investment strategy.

I find the combination of traditional industry, automation, and robotics particularly interesting—themes that I believe will continue to gain importance in the coming years.

Now it’s time to wait and let the position work for me over the long term. 🚀
