And how much startup capital did your parents give you? :D

@Sithz Actually, it was 0€—I earned it all myself :)

@SimonInvest04 And how does that work? 😃 Let's say you started an apprenticeship when you were 18. Your salary is about 500–600€. Let’s make it 800. That would be 38,000€ over 4 years. You’ll probably have spent some money on living expenses and fixed costs like your cell phone, car, sports, etc. Let’s say you saved 1/3 of that. So about 13,000€.
Where did the rest come from?

@Sithz I can summarize it roughly. I started my apprenticeship at 15, and I’d already saved up a bit and was making about €1,300. Then, by the time I was 18 and a half, I was already working full-time and earning a full salary. And since I was still living at home until a year ago, I had virtually no expenses and was able to put almost everything into my investment account.

@SimonInvest04 Living at home with your parents is still the best life hack for building wealth ;-)

@Krush82 Yeah, I did that for 8 years, too—saved 130k. Unfortunately, my parents raised me to play it safe, so I never bought any stocks.

@Krush82 sure, for this part I agree u can save a lot of money (I do that actually) but now my life is not compatible anymore, we don’t have the same goal, I want to be alone, eat at what time I want, invite my friends for night party…

@Sithz Anything is possible—at that age, I was already making over 100k without a cent of support, and four years later, I was making 400k+.
