DHL Group achieved a surprisingly strong profit increase of 6% to 1.4 billion euros in the second quarter of 2025, despite declining sales due to US customs policy and trade conflicts. Revenue fell by 4% to EUR 19.8 billion, with the express business growing despite price increases, while the freight business recorded a decline of almost 30%. DHL Group shares rose 1.7% to 39.82 euros in pre-market trading.
