Interesting news from Novo Nordisk

$NOVO B (+1,06%) Compared to tirzepatide of $LLY (+2,04%) a 2.4-milligram dose of Wegovy showed a significantly higher risk reduction of 57 percent higher risk reduction for heart attack, stroke and cardiovascular-related death or death from any cause during treatment without gaps of more than 30 days, according to the Danish drug manufacturer.

Data from more than 21,000 patients presented at the European Society of Cardiology meeting in Madrid also showed that the risk of heart disease and death from any cause decreased by 29 percent in Wegovy users compared to tirzepatide users, regardless of any gaps in treatment.

The results could give Novo a boost, as the company has lost market share to Zepbound in the US.

I always wonder what kind of people they are who voluntarily shoot themselves up with this stuff 😅 then prefer to lose weight old school 😂

@Simpson First of all, $KO $MCD and co are shot up, and of course this has to be removed again - good for $NOVO B and $LLY 🤷🏽‍♂️

PS: who actually makes all the Botox 🧐
imagem de perfil
@Simpson eat less Food, do more exercises
imagem de perfil
@TomTurboInvest take a look at $GALD, they have an alternative to botox
and $ABBV offers the well-known botox.

@1Chrischi1 Thank you! Why is the share price performance not surprising😅📈
But at >100, the P/E ratio is not without reason, so others are also expecting a trip to the moon 🚀

@Simpson tbh, me, I go to the gym 4 times a week, cook for myself, eat veggies and try to watch macros, cravings are just really hard as I've been overweight for years. And what's €300 a month if it means I can maybe live a year longer.

It's hard to understand when you're at a normal weight. But look at it this way: why don't depressed people stop being depressed, or why don't smokers or alcoholics stop? Well, because it's both a mental problem and a type of addiction. Try not eating sugar for a few days, and imagine it happening after all kinds of meals, even if you eat normal portions (not to mention a deficit).

@Simpson Ozempic and Wegovy are usually supplements to the weight loss process that can ensure faster success, which is an important psychological component, especially for extremely overweight people.

Incidentally, if you are prescribed these products, you will usually also receive nutritional advice and a sports program at the same time, as the injections will not help without a corresponding change.

@Staatsmann I have a colleague at work who has been injecting the stuff for six months. Without doing any sport or changing his diet. Result. - 15 kg

@Shem_sen Sure it works, but it's anything but healthy or sustainable. :)
Either he takes the injections for almost the rest of his life or he will have a great yo-yo effect.

(The injections are still a medication and should be treated as such. Particularly in the case of morbid obesity, there are usually several indicators as to why it is the way it is and which need to be worked on. The injections are a shortcut to a certain extent).

@Simpson just not! This is probably the worst fitness/weight loss lie in the world and yet it's true. Let me explain it briefly. Yes, for many people it is true and losing weight is "so" easy. Biochemistry plays a very important role here and unfortunately is hardly taken into account. There are so many factors involved here, such as stress, hormones, sleep, micronutrients, etc. For women in particular, it is even more complicated and eating (too) little can ironically lead to weight gain and hormonal problems. Eating little and exercising a lot can quickly destroy the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HHN axis or HPA axis) = burnout, women are much more at risk due to hormones. Implementation is usually the problem. A healthy person can easily activate the GLP-1 hormone (weight loss injection) through exercise, "healthy eating" and sauna, for example. If the hormone system is already out of kilter due to excess weight, illness etc., it is no longer so easy. The human body is so much more complex than simply eating less and moving more, and yet - broken down very bluntly - it is true.

@Allan- hahaha - your $NOVO B bashing is unique😂 I don't think it's healthy to get so carried away.

PS: I'm a Novo shareholder and am lazing around in Ötztal today, giving my tired legs a rest 😚

@Allan- I would strongly recommend that you consult a dictionary. It would also be news to me that Novo Nordisk has side effects...

@Allan- I haven't yet seen the €30 you keep writing about here, but be that as it may, even if it does happen at some point sollten🤷🏽‍♂️ - anyone who calls $NOVO B a chip shop hasn't understood it in my opinion or doesn't understand how to read annual reports. But that's ok anyway, not everyone has to invest. There are plenty of other companies too.
I'm just always fascinated by your urge to comment the same mustard under almost every $NOVO B post🤣
Something new with substantiated content that backs up your statement would be interesting, but always the same nonsense - €30 and a chip shop🤪

PS: the price below 40€ was a pleasure for me, I got a good deal

@Allan- If it makes you feel better, I wouldn't have expected €38 either, but when you see how many billions Novo is investing in production capacities and how much the market is growing and is still far from being penetrated, then that's a clear buy for me.
Just as annual reports are not everything from your point of view, share prices do not reflect the true value of a company. This is a snapshot - as exaggerated as it was before, it is now exaggerated in the negative direction 🤷🏽‍♂️

@Allan- goes like this:

Quarterly figures from $NOVO B: sales up 18 percent, operating profit up 40 (!) percent.
But share price in July: in the ass, -25%. These are just people who make investment decisions with AI, automated recommendations for action and constraints on institutional funds (they also have to sell when others do so and certain indicators are reached: the negative effect then intensifies, but this affects all shares.
) .
Cash: all-time high by the company, profit rising, despite falling share prices for twelve months, fundamentally: rock solid.

This is the killer argument for me and other long-term investors. All the rest: doesn't matter.

And if you can look at Novo's share price since 1990 somewhere (I can): then you can see that it is still a line from bottom left to top right, and that this spike ("weight loss spurts") is now returning to normal growth.

I can only repeat myself: the personal dividend yield for Novo Nordisk investors who bought the stock 25 years ago is now already 70% dividend per year - price gains on top.
For me at least, that's the hot shit.
