Back from the US and A

Finally back in beautiful Germany after 3 weeks in the US.

Adding a purchase from the beginning of the week.

And the FTMO competition that ended on August 1st will be drawn tomorrow.

I have to get over the jet lag and catch up on some work in the forest

@Allan- would you rather be in the USA or Russia?

@Allan- Why always so negative

@Allan- I've traveled to 57 countries on business, so you get to know the countries in a completely different way than when you're sitting in a hotel and strolling through the city in the evening.

For me, Germany is the best overall package.

@Allan- It depends on how you look at it. If you're 35, maybe. If you're 25 and come from a modest background, 10 years ago wasn't a good time because it was virtually impossible to participate in the market at a time when many investment goods (including housing in particular) were much more affordable.

@Allan- every government in power is the worst.
That has always been the case 😅

@Allan- Looking at the box, I would guess it's more like 15 years old 😁

@Dividenden_Monteur I personally don't feel safe here anymore. I live near Bremen and what's going on there now, crime, poverty, drugs, thefts, robberies in the middle of the day. Hamburg, Hanover, Frankfurt are terrible. Every day there's a stabbing somewhere, sexual harassment. Another policeman dead. You don't dare go out in the evening. If that's the best thing for you, that's fine. Christmas markets are canceled, swimming pools closed. Sheer madness

@Allan- That's why I moved away years ago, we lived in Findorff and that was just about to collapse. Since then, everything has been safe here in the countryside, and because of my previous and current job in Bremen, I unfortunately have to confirm that it's "brutal" what goes on in some parts of the city. However, in my home town in Bavaria, a medium-sized city, I can stroll through the alleyways of the city center alone at night with peace of mind. I think it's too much to generalize this to everywhere, even if I do understand you geographically 😉

profile image
@Allan- I come from the Ruhr area and now live in Bavaria. It just depends on the location.
2
profile image
@Allan- You can't look at one tiny part and then see it as pars pro toto for the whole of Germany. This country is safer than ever.
6
@Allan- I can't understand it at all. I've been to Bremen, Cologne, Berlin, Munich and Hamburg and you can walk the streets there at night without any problems. Women and couples stroll through the city center and everything is quiet.
USA I'll be back in 46 days 😊
Always a pleasure. Brings you back to reality in Germany

@devnerd_daddy I always see in the morning when I read the newspaper. Stabbing here, police officer dead again, abuse in the swimming pool. I've already read about several stabbings since yesterday, and you talk about security. Christmas markets, swimming pools are closed, major events are canceled. I think you live in the tiny part of Germany where you don't notice all this 😀

@Allan- The crime statistics speak a different language. Or do you want to claim that they are not correct? Maybe you just live in a small part of Germany where things are particularly bad.
2
@Allan- You're reading the wrong newspapers - clearly - Bild?

@ProTox why? it's my second home, it's great there, you can move freely everywhere without fear, which is no longer a matter of course here

@Allan- 🫣🫣🤓🤓
profile image
@Allan- I don't know what's wrong with you, I can walk comfortably through the pedestrian zone here, shout "Fuck you Merz" and nothing will happen to me... Just shout "Fuck you Muhammad bin Zayid Al Nahyan" out loud in Dubai and see what happens... The difference might surprise you

@GuenDolf I always find it interesting when people extol the supposed "advantages" of an autocratic state - as long as they are not on the "wrong" side.
4
@Allan- Yes, it goes without saying here.
profile image
@GuenDolf shout out loud in germany fuck you muhammad and see what happens😄
1
profile image
@Allan- so I'll probably neither be locked away nor executed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2
profile image
@Allan- call in Dubai Fuck you Muhammad🤣 very bad example old...
2
profile image
@GuenDolf I wouldn't be so sure about the latter😄 but try bremen central station. I like to talk to someone who lives in his little castle, has no idea what's going on around it and his only problem is the climate crisis😂 Try driving bremen hamburg hannover center in the evening, then we'll talk.
1
@Allan- I was there again recently, and? I'm still alive. What are you talking about?
profile image
@devnerd_daddy please provide a link to these crime statistics, yours is probably before 2015?
1
profile image
@Allan- Google is your friend
1
@Allan- and yours from 1933?
profile image
@devnerd_daddy you must also take the trouble to read the statistics. What it says confirms what I said 😁😁😁😁 please read through it before it becomes embarrassing for you, below is a small excerpt nice weekend Violent crime by non-German suspects has also increased (+7.5 percent, 2024: 85,012 non-German suspects).
There has also been a significant increase of 9.3% in sexual offenses

@Allan- No, sorry, I'm not giving a beginner's course in reading statistics. You want to believe what you want, then go ahead. It's a bit like posting medical information in a homeopathy group.
profile image
@Planck You can calm down again 😄 Don't get so involved. I'm starting to get scared of you
1
@Allan- I'm so tired of this AfD propaganda in all forums - really now.
2
profile image
@Planck waaas😁 Drive down my left-wing green comrade.
1
No, nothing political, I'm here to talk about investment, and you like this?
profile image
@Planck. you tagged me 5 times and there was nothing about investment? You are very political, I say that I am afraid to go out at night and you immediately accuse me of afd propaganda and make a Nazi out of me?I never once mentioned any party before you attacked me

@SteelAnacott you I have not touted any advantages. The safety of the people should not be considered an advantage, but a matter of course, for example in Dubai.

So, straight back again? Well, I wanted to go straight back. But it was also because of the weather. 36-42°C is simply better than the weather in Germany.
Because some countries have been thrown in here: Croatia. One of the safest countries in Europe, unless you're wearing the wrong jersey
profile image
@devnerd_daddy You're so funny. You throw around statistics and can't even name one. If you're going to make a claim, you should be able to back it up with evidence. Why should I google it

@devnerd_daddy I have read the statistics and it says what I included in the last comment. What am I supposed to have read wrong? Violent crime and sexual offenses by foreigners have risen, it says there😀

@Planck No, but you said Afd propaganda, so I can guess the rest. I can handle contradiction, but apparently you can't, otherwise you wouldn't have gotten so upset. Besides, the whole post by the creator had nothing to do with investment. I was just replying. I'm not talking down anything, these are facts. Where have you been the last few years that you haven't noticed how well your country is doing? I read about a bad economy, debt, crime and poverty every day. Sexual offenses, stabbings, attacks on police officers every day. I could go on and on

@Planck i already thought that you come from such a small village with 14,000 inhabitants and have no idea about the big world may i ask how old you are? you live in your little castle with pink windows and have absolutely no idea what's going on around you, i'll give you a link here, read it https://www.bka.de/DE/AktuelleInformationen/StatistikenLagebilder/PolizeilicheKriminalstatistik/PKS2024/Polizeiliche_Kriminalstatistik_2024/Polizeiliche_Kriminalstatistik_2024_node.html once in 10 years quarter in a big city and explore the world you are really a funny guy to me. even if that was the Bild, that is a newspaper that certainly spreads criminally AFD propaganda. counter question even if I would vote for the AFD, would that be so bad. do you actually notice something, every time you ask me a question what does that have to do with investing, but even you post political nonsense, what do your posts have to do with investments. read through the statistics, here you have your facts and now please leave me alone
