20 year old dutch investor, would like to receive tips and tops on my portfolio

Hi guys,

I am a 20 year old dutch investor and have been investing since February 2023. I'd like to get some advice / tips and tops on my portfolio.

What do you guys think?

I am sitting on some cash to wait out on the stuff that is happening in the markets and macro economy right now. Looking to scoop up bargains when I see some.

My biggest holding is $AMD (+0,74%) and am thinking of adding more to my position at this low a price. But am waiting for it to hit it's support level at around EUR 90 a share.

My strategy is long-term investing, but am willing to take on some more calculated risk when possible as I am still young.

What are your thoughts?

Some wise words I once heard are "time in the market will always beat timing the market." I think ETFs being your lowest allocation is pretty high risk, but everyone has their own strategies. Consider ETFs like a foundation of a building. If the foundation is weak, then when the rest of the house feels pressure, it all tumbles. But when the foundation is strong, it takes alot more to topple.

@chcbigcam yeah agreed. Although the thing holding me back from buying for example $VUSA or $VHYL is that they are at all time highs and I expect a market crash in like reasonably soon. So I am kind of waiting for the correction. But then I am seeing these opportunities in the market for individual stocks.

honestly it looks very random. 3k in AMD but only 500€ in your World ETF.

@BjornUitenbroek yeah your AMD Position is already very big
Yes I think as Björn said you should rebalance your portfolio in case that you have a conservative profile, also in case a financial crash your lose will be not to high. But for other side your are really young and if you invest a long term and your profile is or can be more aggressive, that is ok.
